  St Patrick is coming to the West Coast!
  Get ready to experience a touch of the Emerald Isle in Gothenburg! The city will host its inaugural St. Patrick's Day Parade on March 15th, 2025, promising a vibrant celebration of Irish culture.
  
  This special event will not only showcase the rich traditions of Ireland, including lively music, captivating Irish dance performances, and a festive atmosphere, but will also highlight the contributions of the new generation of Irish who have made Sweden their home.
  
  Bringing the spirit of St. Patrick's Day to Gothenburg, will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Irish culture and strengthen the ties between Ireland and Sweden.
  
  The parade will also commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Swedish Irish Society, recognizing its significant role in fostering international friendship and cultural exchange for many years.
  
  All are welcome to join in the festivities! Whether you're Irish, Swedish, or from anywhere else in the world, come celebrate with us and experience the magic of St. Patrick's Day in Gothenburg.
  
  Contrast Public House on Tredjelånggatan will be the venue for the day.

  Spuds and Sill are proud to present their 2025 Spring production of ”The importance of being Earnest” by Oscar Wilde.

  A farcical comedy depicting the tangled affairs of two young men about town who lead double lives to evade unwanted social obligations, both assuming the name Earnest while wooing the two young women of their affections.

  Shows 28th and 29th of March, on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon and evening.

  Tickets will go on sale mid January 2025.
