Come and enjoy a traditional Irish breakfast on Sunday 15 Nov and pick up a pre-loved book or two. Perfect to get through a grey November!

Wirströms pub will be organising a special full Irish breakfast* for the occasion. A vegetarian breakfast option will be available.

*The "full Irish breakfast” (195kr) includes sausages, pudding, bacon (rashers) , beans, egg, brown bread and tea/coffee. The vegetarian option (159kr) includes halloumi, egg, beans, mushrooms, tomato, brown bread and tea/coffee.

Payment is to be made directly to Wirströms on the day.

You can bring 2-3 books, and you'll be asked to bring home any that aren't taken. Swedish or English is fine!

Please register by 8 Nov so we and Wirströms can plan the event accordingly.

A CELTIC CONCERT – GOTHENBURG

After a fantastic reception at our St Patrick’s Day celebrations earlier this year, Mac Na Galla and Paudie & Aaron are returning to the stage for another night of live music in Gothenburg.

Join The Swedish-Irish Society West Coast Chapter Saturday 28th November at Contrast Public House for an evening of Celtic-inspired music, some familiar favourites, good company and plenty of atmosphere.

And even better, the evening is for a great cause, with profits from the event supporting Göteborgs Stadsmission.

⭐ Join us for a very special event!⭐

We will cruise from Strändvägen in Stockholm to the archipelago and back, while enjoying a delicious Swedish julbord. Raffles, carols and crackers will give it an Irish touch!

Please note that the boat will depart at 18.30. It will return at 21.30 and remain docked for the rest of the evening, for drinks and dancing.

As a special Christmas bonus, each member may bring up to 3 guests (friends who are not members) with them for the member price.
