Competition Notice - Information regarding the competition
- Relevant terms for the competition: The competition is open to all attendees of the St Patrick’s Day Celebrations, Stockholm on 15th March 2025, hosted by the Swedish-Irish Society (Svensk-irländska föreningen) a non-profit with organisation number 812800-5769. Any person who does not attend the aforementioned St Patrick’s Day Celebrations are not eligible to participate in this competition.
- Relevant time limits: the competition will start on 15th March 2025 and will continue for the duration of the St Patrick’s Day Celebration on the 15th March 2025.
- The competition task/performance: The participants need to fulfill the following: please wear and/or create a “fancy hat” and present yourself at the Bloomsday Tent in Kungsträdgården during the St Patrick’s Day Celebrations on the 15th March, 2025 by 15.30 at the latest. The purpose of this hat/task is to add to visual dynamics of the parade.
Only one entry per participant is allowed.
For the avoidance of doubt, board members of the Swedish-Irish Society and immediate family members of the Jury are not permitted to enter this competition.
- Information regarding how the winner is appointed and the criteria assessed when appointing a winner: will be evaluated by the jury. The jury will consist of 3 members: Deirdre Cronin Olsson, Teresa Ogenstad, and Grace Drea. All winners need to be unanimously approved.
- Information regarding where and when the names of the winners will be published: The results of the competition will be announced on 15th March, at 16.00 on the Main Stage, and the winners will have until 16.30 on 15th March to collect the prize. The names of the winners will be published on this website https://www.swedishirish.se/competition and they will stay published for a maximum of two months. The winners will also be informed personally during the St Patrick’s Day Celebrations by the jury.
The prize-giving shall take place on the 15th March 2025 at the St Patrick’s Day Celebrations.
- *Awards/prizes: The prizes shall be two (2) awards of 12 bottles of non-alcohol drinks provided by Torst. If the prize has not been claimed within the stated period, the winner will be disqualified and the Jury shall be entitled to pick an alternative winner.
The winner of a prize is liable for any potential taxes, levies (as applicable).
- Other: The same terms apply to all participants in the competition. The assessment of the contributions will be impartial, and the competition will be conducted according to these rules. The Swedish Irish Society retains the right to update these terms at any point.
Participants acknowledge and agree to the Swedish-Irish Society’s processing of the participants personal data for the purposes of the competition, including but not limited to disclosure and publication of the winning participants names on its website or other media.
